Digital Archives Licensing and Brokerage Center
The Digital Archives Licensing and Brokerage Center operates under the Ministry of Science and Technology's Digital Archives Bridging Project for Industry Promotion. Its primary mission is to promote the use of archival images from Taiwan's museums and art institutions, and to manage the licensing process on behalf of these collections.
Through participation in events such as the Young Designers’ Exhibition, value-added application seminars, and various types of creative workshops, the Center actively promotes the concepts of archival image usage and licensing across university campuses.
At present, the Digital Archives Licensing Platform holds approximately 20,000 archival images, offering students a rich resource for visual reference, creative inspiration, and appreciation of traditional archival aesthetics. In addition to image access, the platform regularly features updates on art exhibitions, design competitions, funding opportunities, and provides free legal consultation services.
Moreover, the Center frequently invites experts and scholars to provide in-depth commentary and interpretation of selected archival materials on the platform. These efforts aim to deepen students' understanding of the stories behind the collections and to inspire a wealth of cultural originality.
