IBDC is one of the world's most iconic professional design competitions, dedicated to leading the trend of innovative bicycle design for many years. It is also an excellent platform for industrial design departments in domestic universities to showcase students' creativity, accumulate international competition experience, and enhance their employment competitiveness. In addition to encouraging students to boldly conceive solutions for future transportation and cycling, the IBDC also maintains close ties with industry. Winning entries have consistently garnered significant attention and become the starting point for production or project collaborations. Through participation, students will be able to practice the design principles of "people-centeredness" and "sustainable innovation," enhance their overall skills, and have the opportunity to interact with outstanding designers from around the world.

The 26th IBDC is now accepting applications (July 1st to October 15th). The theme is "Smart. Sustainable. Happy Life." Participation benefits include: a gold medal prize of NT$200,000, opportunities to collaborate with bicycle manufacturers, and partnerships with the Golden Pin Design Award.
