To enhance the presentation of the "Resonance of the Void" exhibition, a special workshop has been organized. This workshop explores various generative AI techniques to assist in design planning and concept development. The goal is to cultivate students' creativity and practical skills, helping them stay attuned to technological trends and better navigate future design challenges.

Students begin by using media to document and analyze different perspectives on life, covering aspects such as design styles, material combinations, lifestyles, human factors, and cultural considerations. From modern to traditional, minimalistic to ornate, the designs aim to resonate with diverse audiences and their preferences.

With the aid of generative AI, students explore the diversity and richness of furniture design, transforming conceptual ideas into tangible furniture pieces. This process fosters both creativity and professional expertise, equipping students with the skills needed to thrive in the evolving world of design.

 

Students have long been immersed in their individual academic tracks, focusing on specialized coursework and research. It has been a while since they last gathered to collaboratively build models and discuss design concepts.

On the first day, the large classroom was filled with energy, laughter, and vibrant discussions, as everyone reconnected and experienced the power of teamwork. The lively atmosphere strengthened their bonds and reinforced the importance of collaboration in design.

With great anticipation for the upcoming activities, students are eager to embark on this unforgettable journey of learning and exchange—an experience that will undoubtedly lay a solid foundation for their future in design. 

The "Resonance of the Void" Exhibition will showcase outstanding works from first to third-year students of Fo Guang University’s Department of Product and Media Design, covering various fields such as product design, media production, and visual arts. These works reflect students' understanding and response to contemporary social and cultural issues, demonstrating their creativity and technical expertise.
